Himachal CM invites NRIs to invest in Himachal
Shimla: Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal, Chief Minister, invited the Non
Resident Indians (NRIs) in USA to come to Himachal Pradesh and make
investments in the industrial activities in the best climatic
conditions with added incentives being extended by the State Government
to the entrepreneurs. He was interacting with the leaders of various
NRI organizations in New York enroute to San Jose in Costa Rica to
attend an international conference on environment.
Chief Minister detailed the facilities available to the investors in
Himachal Pradesh and said that the State had best climatic conditions
for eco-friendly industries. He said that besides floating power, cheap
land and best of the communication facilities the State Government was
extending best of the services to the entrepreneurs to help them
establish their production units conveniently. He said that Himachal
Pradesh had constituted State Level Single Window Clearance and
Monitoring Authority to give clearances in respect of various codal
formalities required to be observed by prospective entrepreneurs in the
high level meeting attended by the top concerned officials of the State
Government. He assured the NRI entrepreneurs that there best law and
order conditions for safe industrial investment in the State while he
himself had been interacting with the entrepreneurs to resolve their
various genuine grievances. He hoped that NRI in USA would be visiting
Himachal Pradesh to take stock of the facilities there and emerge
