Dealing in Income Tax and Sales Tax Laws, which has now been replaced by Value
Added Tax in Place of Sales Tax and Service Tax.
He has a vast knowledge and standing of about 30 years in dealing with cases of
companies, Multi National Companies partnership firms and individuals.
He has represented clients for tax matters before Assessing Officers,
Commissioners, Income Tax Appellate Tribunals and High Court.
Mr. Daljit Singh Sandhu has dealt in personal taxation, Company taxations, Sales
Tax, Value Added Tax and Service Tax.
In Income tax, he has serviced non-residents individuals and B.P.O's as clients,
especially the shipies employed on foreign ships.

The well-known Indian & Foreign companies are also setting up facilities under
Income Tax at different places in India . Many of the B.P.O's have started
operating here and are already availing guidance.
The VAT regime is a new concept in India , which has been adopted by 22 States
together, making uniform rate of taxation a reality. Was chosen by different
trade associations for explaining the intricacies of VAT laws.
The Income Tax law is also undergoing a lot of change. A new kind of tax under
the Income Tax laws known as fringe Benefit tax has been proposed along with
transaction tax that is radically going to change the outlook of the tax laws in
India . These taxes have to be paid even if the person otherwise is not taxable
as having loss or income less than minimum liable to tax. Many of the
exemptions are being withdrawn or amended.
