Hindu Succesion Act

This Act deals with distribution of property of Hindus, Sikhs, Budhists, and Jainas who have died without making a will. The law of intestate succession is more properly the law of inheritance consists of rules which determine the mode of passing of property of the deceased on heirs solely on the basis of their relationship to the deceased.
