 A Princess carries her charm over and above all others around her – and so it is with this quaint hill station called ‘Kodaikanal’ down South in India. Very aptly named, the meaning of the name signifies all that can be enchanting.

‘Kodaikanal’ means a ‘gift of the forest.’ The place offers that and more. There is an incredible variety of trees and the wilderness there is full of huge rocks. Fascinating waterfalls add to the beauty of it all. This quaint place is located in the Palani Hills in the Western Ghats, amidst sweeping landscapes and nature at one of its best.

People who love to experience cool breeze of fresh air on their morning walk, Coakers walk is the place to visit.

This famous hill station was founded in the year 1821 by British survivor, and later many foreign missionaries visited this place for peace, and for its scenic beauty. One will find old Churches, worship places and missionary schools as well depicting the relation of British and India.

Kodaikanal has many fabulous restaurants local food shops which provide a mouth-watering variety of cuisines.
