The Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (MWPSC Act)

Normally parents execute transfer deeds in favour of their sons daughters etc. While they are alive with the condition that the beneficiaries shall maintain and take care of them and later resile from their commitments and obligations. Old parents are legally entitled to get the transfer deeds cancelled/nullified and further get maintenance from such sons and daughters. When Transfer deeds are executed one has to ensure that this clause is inserted in the transfer deed that children shall maintain and take care of you. Such a condition in the deed is a vital must to ensure your protection especially  in the old age .
